वैनीडियम औषधि को टी.बी. के रोग के कारण होने वाले रोगों में प्रयोग किया जाता है। ये औषधि भूख न लगने पर, जठरांत्र-क्षोभ (आमाशय में सूजन आना) के लक्षणों में, पेशाब के साथ अन्न जैसे पदार्थ आने में, शरीर के कांपने में, सिर के घूमने में, हिस्टीरिया रोग में, रोगी को आंखों से दिखाई ना देना, रोगी को होने वाली सूखी खांसी जिसमे कभी-कभी खून भी आ जाता है, आंख, गले और नाक का जलन, गठिया का पुराना रोग, मधुमेह रोग में बहुत अच्छा लाभ करती है।
